Midland Saleyards

This project located in the Midland Redevelopment Area is a bulky goods showroom development that includes the largest Bunnings Warehouse in Western Australia. Another traffic consultant prepared the original transport impact assessment, however Transcore was subsequently engaged to review and prepare a supplementary traffic analysis. Transcore also provided traffic engineering expert witness on behalf of the Applicant at the State Administrative Tribunal, to appeal against access restrictions imposed in the original conditions of approval of the development application.

Several State Government authorities and the City of Swan each provided a number of their own traffic engineering expert witnesses to support those approval conditions but at least one of those conditions was overturned through this appeal process.
