Transcore were the Traffic Engineers for this major project within Burswood Penninsula from the outset to its implementation. Transcore was responsible for developing the vehicular and pedestrian acess and connectivities to Crown Towers including planning and design of a new signallised intersection on Great Eastern Highway as well as upgrades to the existing intersections that facillitate access and connectivity to Crown Hotels and other facilities.
As part of this project, Transcore developed a microsimulation traffic model, assisted with the design of the underground hotel car park, as well as the multi-story public car park and liaise with Public Transport Authority regarding the planning for a bus route to connect Greatr Eastern Highway to Perth stadium from the new signallised intersection.
