Transcore welcomes three new Engineers

Transcore is pleased to welcome Alvira Navarro, Kunyou Dai and Roger Bajwa who have recently joined the Engineering team.

Alvira Navarro – Traffic & Transport Engineer

Alvira joined Transcore as a Traffic and Transport Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree and a Master of Professional Engineering (Civil Engineering) degree, both from the University of Western Australia.

Alvira was previously employed at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) where she worked as a Project and Policy Officer with the Infrastructure Planning (Transport) team. At DPLH, Alvira was involved in reviewing and providing recommendations for statutory applications for subdivisions, development applications, structure plans, and region scheme amendments to ensure compliance with State policies and guidelines. Alvira’s other responsibilities included reviewing transport impact assessments submitted along with applications or statutory referrals to ensure compliance with policy and guidelines, and the safety and efficiency of the road network.

Kunyou (Josh) Dai – Graduate Traffic Engineer

Josh joins us as a Traffic Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree and a Master of Professional Engineer (Civil) degree from the University of Western Australia.

Before joining Transcore, Josh had one year of experience in temporary worksites traffic management as a traffic management designer and holds an Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) accreditation. This includes experience in preparing traffic management plan and traffic guideline schemes, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating and liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including clients, team members, road authorities, and local councils.

Roger Bajwa – Graduate Traffic Engineer

Roger joined Transcore as Traffic Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from LP University and a Master of Advanced Civil Engineering (Transport) degree from Monash University in Melbourne.  

Before moving to Australia Roger worked in construction industry after completion of his first degree. Since joining Transcore, Roger has been involved in a range of traffic and transport tasks. These include traffic impact studies and preparing reports, road safety assessments for LED advertising signs, turn path analysis for various vehicles movements using AutoTurn software, parking design review, assessment of intersection sight distance, and organising, managing and processing traffic and parking surveys.
