Transcore welcomes three new Engineers

Transcore ispleased to welcome Alvira Navarro, Kunyou Dai and Roger Bajwa who have recentlyjoined the Engineering team.

Alvira Navarro – Traffic &Transport Engineer

Alvira joined Transcore as a Traffic andTransport Engineer with a Master of Professional Engineering (CivilEngineering) degree from the University of Western Australia.

Alvira was previously employed at theDepartment of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) where she worked as a Projectand Policy Officer with the Infrastructure Planning (Transport) team. At DPLH,Alvira was involved in reviewing and providing recommendations for statutoryapplications for subdivisions, development applications, structure plans, and regionscheme amendments to ensure compliance with State policies and guidelines. Alvira’sother responsibilities included reviewing transport impact assessmentssubmitted along with applications or statutory referrals to ensure compliancewith policy and guidelines, and the safety and efficiency of the road network.

‍Kunyou (Josh) Dai –Graduate Traffic Engineer

Joshjoins us as a Graduate Traffic Engineer and holds a Master of ProfessionalEngineer (Civil) degree from the University of Western Australia.

Joshhad one year of experience in temporary worksites traffic management as atraffic management designer and holds an Advanced Worksite Traffic Management(AWTM) accreditation. This includes experience in preparing traffic managementplan and traffic guideline schemes, conducting risk assessments, andcollaborating and liaising with a broad range of internal and externalstakeholders, including clients, staff, road authorities, and local councils.

 Roger Bajwa – GraduateTraffic Engineer

Roger joined Transcore as Graduate TrafficEngineer and holds a Master of Advanced Civil Engineering (Transport) degreefrom Monash University and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from LPUniversity.

Since joining Transcore, Roger has beeninvolved in a range of traffic and transport tasks. These include trafficimpact studies and preparing reports, road safety assessments for LEDadvertising signs, turn path analysis for various vehicles movements usingAutoTurn software, parking design review, assessment of safe intersection sightdistance, and organising traffic and parking surveys.
