Landmark Marine Parade Development Progresses in Cottesloe

Transcore has been assisting Baltinas with this iconic project since 2022. The approved development comprises a seven-storey mixed-use building at the former Beaches Café site on Marine Parade. This landmark development forms part of the ongoing transformation of Cottesloe beachfront precinct, contributing to the area’s emergence as a premium coastal destination for living, dining, and tourism.

The project entailed complexities that resulted in innovative solutions for the two buildings to share one car park and only one crossover on Napier Street avoiding a second crossover on Marine Parade. Another complexity of the project was developing a traffic and priority management system to allow effective, convenient and safe circulation of traffic in and out of the car park that entailed single-width ramps and some single-width parking aisles. These complexities could not be avoided due to constraints but was successfully addressed by the management system.

Transcore is very pleased that the development has gained approval and is currently under construction.
